Mary’s most notable project achievements include Eleanor Rosa House, a 32-storey mixed-use development in Stratford; Hollis Croft, a 972 student bed development over three sites in Sheffield; and Altus House, a 38-storey student accommodation scheme in Leeds which, on completion, will be the tallest building in Yorkshire and the North East of England. Mary’s professional achievements include receiving her professional Chartered status as a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2017.
Wayne Ballance, Managing Director of Tier Consult, said: “We are delighted to appoint Mary to the position of Director. Mary’s growing experience with the company and her overall commitment means that she is ideal to help build on Tier’s success and deliver an exciting future. Her appointment is very well deserved and I look forward to seeing what she brings to the role”.
Mary also becomes Tier Consult’s first female Director. Commenting on her new appointment, Mary said: “I’m thrilled to move into the role of Director after gradually working my way up through the company. The company has helped me grow in my professional career and I would like to thank them for the opportunities that have been given to me so far, from gaining my Chartered status to leading prestigious projects. Having worked in Tier Sheffield for almost 9 years, being appointed as a Director is a very proud moment for me, both professionally and personally. Taking on this role in the current situation will be a challenge but it’s one I’m fully committed to and I’m very much looking forward to building on the success of Tier so far.”
Tier Consult would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mary for her well-deserved promotion and thank her for her commitment to the company.
