Wayne started his career with Capita and has over twenty years of industry experience.  He has been leading a team of civil, structural, and geo-environmental engineers for over ten years.  Wayne consistently delivers excellence through his designs, commercial ability, and understanding of each client’s individual drivers and needs.

Mary joined the original Tier business as a Graduate Engineer in 2011, working her way up to Director over the ten years that followed.  Mary is a Chartered Structural Engineer and has worked on many high-quality student and residential projects, notably Altus House, Leeds and Eleanor Rosa House, Stratford.

Jack has over fifteen years of experience working in consultancy environments both in the UK and overseas. A Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer, Jack has lead teams for developments typically ranging in value of between £50-200m. Specialist areas include the analysis and design of high-rise buildings, concrete and steel design. Jack is also responsible for the training, development and mentoring of graduate engineers as a Supervising Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Danny is an experienced structural technician with 25 years’ experience in a wide range of major building structures projects. Danny has special expertise in BIM modelling, and is responsible for implementation, managing, and directing the team in accordance with BIM Level 2 compliance.

Lee has over 18 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, Lee has worked across many sectors, designing small timber frames to multi-storey steel and masonry structures. Lee specialises in the determination of site levels, and as part of his experience in the highway and rail sector, he undertakes pavement design and the determination of hardstanding specifications.

Matt has recently joined Apex to head up our newly formed Geo-environmental team.  He has over 10 years’ experience in designing and project-managing ground investigations for a variety of end-uses across the UK.  Matt prides himself in providing robust and clear-cut advice to clients when it comes to ground related issues.

Helen has been with the business for 10 years and manages all aspects of HR, health and safety, and finance.
